Anonymous psychological support by telephone and internet

Youth Line is a toll free psychological aid telephone 8 800 28888 where calls are answered by volunteers from 4 p.m. till 7 a.m. daily, all day round on weekends.

Everyone is also welcome to write a letter to Youth Line volunteers and get an answer in 3 days period. The website address is: www.jppc.lt/draugas

Youth Line volunteers are young people (18 – 35 years old), who have finished 8 month training course. Volunteers are ready to listen, to understand and to give support to everyone who calls or writes.

One of the main goals of Youth Line is suicide prevention.

The work of Youth Line is coordinated by 3 services in 3 biggest Lithuanian towns:

• Youth Psychological Aid Centre (YPAC) in Vilnius (tel. + 370 5 231 3437);
• Kaunas Youth Line in Kaunas (mob. + 370 616 22 505);
• Youth Spiritual Help Centre in Klaipėda (tel. + 370 46 36 00 18).
