Since 1996 the employees of Youth Psychological Aid Center (YPAC) work with children and young people of Vilnius Rasų neighborhood. The children club "Veidrodukas" ("Little Mirror") was established in 1998. The Municipality of Vilnius city began to buy YPAC services of children day care center in 2003, so Children Day Care Centre was established. It worked until the 31st of December, 2008 and was sponsored by Ministry of Social Welfare and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania, as wel as Vilnius city Municipality. Children Day Care Centre was closed do to the lack of financial resources. Children and youth club "Little Mirror" was re-established again on the 5th of January, 2009.

Children and youth club "Little Mirror" is opened every tuesday and thursday from 3 pm till 6 pm. Some activities are held on weekends also. 12 children attend club activities, the biggest part of them are from the social risk group families. Club activities include doing homework, post-school education, developing everyday life skills, also artstic skills. Children learn to use the computer, participate in sport games, discuss about relevant issues to them. The main aim of all the activities is to provide a possibility for a meaningful free time, to teach acceptable social behaviour. Club leaders keep in touch with children families too.

Children and youth club activities help to enter into relations with Rasų neighborhood community. At present not only residents of Rasų neighborhood whose children attend the children an youth club come to YPAC for help but the residents of other Vilnius districts come here too.

Every year children's summer camps are arranged in various places of Lithuania. Children have to find the lodging place for the night using a map, to make up the fire, cook food, they have an opportunity to attend organized social activities, play different games. We believe that this experience allows them to feel important, responsible and self-dependent. It helps them to receive an example of positive relationship between adult and children, which they are lacking in their common life.
